Once you are ready to move forward we ask that you do the following:
- Contact us
- This can be done via inquiry form listed below or by simply going to the contact us tab and calling, emailing, texting, or sending a contact form for us to reach back to you.
- Fill out a surrender form
- We have placed a document link below labeled 'Surrender Form'. Our surrender forms help us understand your piggies history and health as well as provide us with information to help them transition into our foster as well as into their new home once adopted. We ask that you take the time to fill it out in its entirety to the best of your knowledge, sign and date it prior to the surrender. If you don't have access to a printer please just let us know and we print one for you to fill out during the surrender. If you have 1-3 guinea pigs, please fill one out per piggy, If more, please let us know and we will send you a customized surrender form for large intake surrenders.
- Leave the rest up to us
- We will follow up with a day and time that works with your schedule to proceed with the surrender.
Surrendering is a fairly quick process as we will allow you to say your goodbyes, chat a little, and make the exchange. Should you want to stay updated on your piggies new adventures you are more than welcome to check in with us as well as follow us on facebook. We do ask however that you do not harass any potential adopters should they show interest in adopting your surrender.
If you would like to donate your guinea pig's cage, food, bedding, and accessories please just bring the items with you to the surrender appointment. We do ask that you clean all items beforehand.

What happens if I change my mind?
Sometimes people realize they may have made a mistake. We allow a 6 hour grace period where you can request your piggy back without any penalties or questions asked. You will get your surrender fee returned and we will arrange a good time to pick them back up. However, after the grace period has passed, we will resumed the intake process and place them up for adoption. If it is past the 6 hour grace period, we will allow you to readopt your piggy back if still available at half the regular adoption fee price but will need you to fill out an adoption form to veto the surrender form.
Surrender formPlease download this form and fill out in whole to the best of your knowledge. If you don't have access to a printer let us know and we will provide a form upon meet up.
