Adoption Fees
Adoption Fees vary depending on breed, age, disability, and if altered. You can find the adoption fee listed under each guinea pigs photo or you can inquire by contacting us! There is an adoption fee per each guinea pig, we do not offer discounted rates if adopting more than one guinea pig. Bellevue Cavy Critters is a private, non-profit organization that does not receive government funding. We are also not affiliated with any national humane organizations. We are a charitable community resource, dedicated to protecting and providing temporary shelter and comfort to all guinea pigs in need and promote adoption and rehoming for abused, abandoned, neglected, and unwanted companion animals. We rely solely on donations, bequests, and our own fundraising efforts for its very survival. In order for our doors to remain open the continued support of the community is essential.

Please note that we will never adopt out a pregnant sow, babies not mature enough to be weaned, unhealthy, or injured guinea pig intentionally. We take great care in our fosters well being and want to prevent any problems that can be imperative to their health and happiness. We also are very diligent in sexing our guinea pigs correctly unlike many pet stores to ensure you are indeed getting the correct gender and eliminate to possibility of accidentally placing with an opposite sex guinea pig causing pregnancy. We rarely make any mistakes when approving guinea pigs for adoption, but please know that human error can occur and we will work with you to resolve any issues. We will not pay for vet bills but will offer a refund or an exchange for another guinea pig should any of the above issues arise. If injury or health issue occurs after adoption, we are not held responsible and will not be able to honor a refund or exchange. Should you decide you no longer want your guinea pig due to getting pregnant, illness, injury, disability, etc. please visit our surrender page or contact us for additional information. We will always take in a guinea pig(s).
